Gordhandas Garodia and his wife Smt. Parmeshwari Devi Garodia
started business under the banner of P. G. Trust. For construction
2 seperate companies were floated, known as Abhini Developers
Pvt. Ltd. and Shri Sati Builders & Developers Pvt.
Ltd.
GARODIA NAGAR AT GHATKOPAR EAST
The Salt Pan Land at Ghatkopar (E) was developed with all
the necessary infrastructures, as the first private layout
in India. This project became famous as Garodia Nagar. One
of the upper middle class residential project. Total area
covered under this scheme was above 2 lacs square meters and
consisted of over 204 buildings.
OTHER PROJECTS
Apart from Garodia Nagar other housing projects were constructed
at Thane (West), Malad (West), Talegaon (Near Pune), Chembur
(West) etc.
Presently M/s. Abhini Developers Pvt. Ltd. is developing "MANSAROVAR
COMPLEX" at Vikhroli Park site, Ghatkopar (West). This
project is under SRA scheme where about 2000 slums dwellers
are to be rehabilitated in about 16 multi storeyed buildings.
In lieu of the rehabilitation, the developers will be constructing
about 750 flats covering built-up area of approximately 8
lacs sq. ft. in multi storeyed towers. The building which
has started is known as “MANDAKINI TOWERS” with
basement, ground floor shopping area, podium level and 20
storeys residential. The beauty of this project will be enhanced
by a separate clubhouse with swimming pool & all modern
facilities. Another unique feature is the provision of Safe
Deposit Lockers. There is also a separate 5 storeyed car parking
building for the complex.
M/s. Shri Sati Builders & Developers Pvt. Ltd. is developing
a project at Chembur (West), near Govandi station. The 15
storeyed building is known as “MANNAT TOWERS”
consisting of 78 flats of 1 RK & 1 BHK & 2 BHK.
